Get plenty of sleep. It is always harder to pull yourself out of bed when you have just laid down only a few hours earlier. I would suggest at least 7 hours.
If you are a sound sleeper, get a extra loud alarm clock. Nothing is more annoying then having a alarm clock ringing in your ear, but at least this way you will wake up on time.Set your thermostat to a good temperature. Especially in the winter, if it was cold outside and in the house, I didn't want get out of my bed. I would usually try to sit their and keep warm but eventually would fall back to sleep. Go ahead and wake up. Chances are if you wake up but don't get out of bed, you may end up falling back asleep. Have something good to eat in the morning. Even if you are going to work or school, at least you will have something to look forward to that morning. Have a hot shower. Soon as you start to wake, go ahead and head to the shower to get completely woken up. Set more than one alarm. If you are sleeping through one alarm clock, try two. Set them at different times, so when one stops the other goes off. The different sounds may wake you up. Put your alarm clock at a distance, where you physically have to get up to turn it off. That way after you turn it off, your already up.
