For example, I personally enjoy sports and I know a good amount about them. Therefore, it would be a wise decision for me to start a Prog about sports related products. If you make-up and know a lot about it - then you should prog about make-up. If you like computers and you know things about them, then you should prog about computers and technology products. Follow your interests and expertise so that you can provide the best and most accurate information to possible customers.

You can buy your own domain name which will allow you maximum marketability and your readers something easy to remember, however it will cost you money on a monthly basis to host your website somewhere. You can use a blogger blog - like this one. It is free and indexes well in the search engines (a concept we will get into a bit later). Or you can use a website like HubPages or Squidoo where you can earn money from all different kinds of ads including your affiliate sales on the products that you prog about. If you have a little money to throw around I would advice getting a domain name. If you want to be cost effective, then go for a blogger blog - there is definitely no shame in that.

When you choose a name for your prog be sure to make it relevant to your niche. Don't just call it "Peter's Prog". Make sure you include keywords in the name so that your audience knows what you are writing about. If I am doing a sports prog I might want to choose something like - BestSportsProducts.com or PopularSportsProducts.blogspot.com (I have no idea if these names are already taken or not). No one is going to know what the heck your prog is about if you name it awesomest4456angel.com.

Step 3) Ok. So by now you have your prog niche and prog name chosen. You are ready to start progging about products! You can start progging about products right away, but if you want to make any money you will need to join a few affiliate advertising websites. Three common affiliate programs you can join are Share-A-Sale, Commission Junction, and LinkShare.

Once you have signed up with these affiliate sales programs you are ready to start to make money progging! Be on the look out for more articles on how to write good prog articles and product reviews that will keep your readers and possible customers interested. Also be on the look out for lenses that will teach you how to bring traffic to your prog.
