Recently acquired by an international management team, the Boda Borg concept is being refined and prepared for expansion. Though not yet well exposed to the mass population centers of the world, hundreds of thousands of guests already enjoy Boda Borg Quests each year. A Quest is a series of challenges that must be dealt with in sequence…just as an action hero in a movie might have to survive. Boda Borg puts up to 25 different Quests in one location, sort of like going to a movie theater, but there are no movies. Their guests actually journey through these Quests, and if they do not pass any one challenge of a Quest, they must exit and start over or select another Quest. The success or failure nature of the activity actually creates a tremendous amount of excitement and adrenaline. For one price, guests can try as many Quests as they want, as many times as they want.
"Our Quests have anywhere from 2 - 5 challenges each, and you never know what's coming next," says David Spigner of Boda Borg Corporation. "A Quest can have just about any type of theme, and changing technologies allow us to continuously change and upgrade the experiences, including look and feel. Guest might have to survive unknown challenges on a space ship, or in a jungle…once you step inside a Quest you have to figure out what it is and what must be done."
This new business space is attracting guests of all types, from about age 8 - 70, and is also fast becoming a new age form of teambuilding activity for businesses. "If you have ever played a video game with a character having to get through challenges, imagine that you are now that character in a real live environment. That is what we are doing with Boda Borg," Spigner explains.
