How to Make Shrimp Creole

For those of you that love Shrimp, you must try this recipe. This is a wonderful and unique way to eat shrimp. Most of us just boil, grill or scampi shrimp, having new way to enjoy something so good and something that is healthy is always wonderful!!

Things You’ll Need:
  • 1-2 Large Chopped Bell Peppers
  • 1 Large Chopped Onion
  • 1 Chopped Stalk of Celery
  • 1 Bunch of Chopped Green Onions
  • 1-2 Pounds of Peeled Shrimp
  • 1-2 6oz Cans of Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Can of Rotel
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 2-3 Teaspoon Flour
  • Garlic Powder to Taste (Not Garlic Salt)
  • Onion Powder to Taste
  • 1-2 Teaspoon Tabasco Sauce
  • Large Pot
Gather together the following ingredients: 1-2 Large Chopped Bell Peppers, 1 Large Chopped Onion, 1 Chopped Stalk of Celery, 1 Bunch of Chopped Green Onions, 1-2 Pounds of Peeled Shrimp, 1-2 6oz Cans of Tomato Sauce, 1 Can of Rotel, 1 Stick Butter, 2-3 Teaspoon Flour
Garlic Powder to Taste (Not Garlic Salt), Onion Powder to Taste, 1-2 Teaspoon Tabasco Sauce. Melt 1 sick of butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add bell pepper, onion, and celery. Sauté until veggies are tender (about 20-30 minutes). 3 Add flour to veggies which will thicken up the mixture. Cook for another 20 minutes and add tomato sauce, rotel, onion powder and garlic powder. Simmer. Add Shrimp, green onions, and Tabasco and cook for about 20 minutes, DO NOT overcook shrimp. More flour or cornstarch can be added if you prefer the Creole sauce to be thicker. Great served over rice.
